The Guernsey Press has a daily circulation
of more than 16,000, and is read by some 38,000 people every day, or more
than 80% of the island's adult population.
The
new-look tabloid Guernsey Press came about following market research by
NOP, and the new style paper has become even more popular than its broadsheet
predecessor.
A
significant achievement for the newspaper was placing runner-up in the
prestigious Regional Newspaper of the Year 2000 competition run by the
Newspaper Society in the UK.
The
Guernsey Press may have changed its look and its name, but is set to remain
at the forefront of local media as the island heads into the 21st century.
